• a Chrome School of Sharks Upgrade Kit can be bought from either Ronza’s Traveling Shoppe for 32,000,000 gold and a Chrome Voucher or the Marketplace.
• School of Sharks Trap Parts can be acquired by smashing a School of Sharks Trap, and will be explained below.

The School of Sharks can be purchased from the Sunken City Trapsmith for 11,000,000 gold, 800 Sand Dollar, 1 Rune Shark Trap, 3 Predatory Processors, 60 Runes, 200 Barnacle, 200 Mouse Scale and 200 Damaged coral Fragment.

• Sand Dollars are dropped in the Sunken city while diving. The best zones for these are the yellow-colored Treasure zones, and their highest efficiency can be found at 10,000 meter deep and beyond.
• Predatory Processors can be purchased from the Sunken City General Store for 525 Sand Dollars or looted from mice in Monster Trenches and Lairs of the Ancient, although it is a rare drop. The more conventional way of obtaining them is using the Marketplace to buy the needed Processors.
• Runes are dropped by various mice in the Forbidden Grove and the Acolyte Realm, primarily when hunting with Ancient Cheese.
• Barnacle, Mouse Scale and Damaged coral Fragment can primarily be looted from the Barnacle, Scale and Coral zones in the Sunken City. The zones with highest efficiency can be found at 10,000 meter deep and beyond.
• 1 Rune Shark Trap can be purchased from the Sunken City Trapsmith and will be explained below.

The Chrome School of Sharks Trap is the final Hydro weapon hunters would look for. It can be acquired from the Sunken City, which has fairly little purpose progress-wise beyond this specific best-in-slot hydro weapon. Compared to other Best in Slot weapons on cost, the Chrome School of Sharks is somewhere in the middle. Its clearcut gold cost is on the higher end, but it is one of the few with quite little gold cost hidden away on the Marketplace. This weapon is primarily used in the Floating Islands and the Folklore Forest’s Prologue Pond. Like all best-in-slots, it has crown purposes as well, but a meaningful shoutout to give here is Twisted Carmine. She can be farmed a lot more efficiently with the Chrome School of Sharks, and her essences can provide quite some value.

Alternatives

The Chrome School of Sharks Trap is the current best in slot Hydro weapon in the game. The Queso Fount Trap is the closest it has to an alternative, but will only carry you so far. Eventually, you will want the Chrome School of Sharks.
